The NPS-A2 Potable Water Treatment Unit

The NPS-A2 has been in service on corporate, VIP, and military transport aircraft for more than twenty years. IWG’s original aircraft water treatment unit, the NPS-A2’s effectiveness, robust design and 1.5 US Gallon per minute flow rate have resulted in hundreds of installations since its first flight in 1982.

Designed from the outset for aircraft use, the flight-certified NPS-A2 weighs only 9.5 lbs, and occupies a space of just 15.4” x 10.9” x 4.1”.

The NPS-A2 incorporates two ultraviolet treatment chambers.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation was the launch customer for the NPS-A2, and over the years has installed the unit in a wide range of its business jets. The NPS-A2 has also been installed in aircraft as small as the Bombardier Challenger 604 and as large as the Airbus A340 and Boeing 747-400.
